Best Time for Camel Trekking
Camel treks are typically done at sunset and sunrise — the two most magical times in the desert. The best months for this are October through April, when the temperature is comfortable for both you and the camels. During summer, early morning treks start at 5am to beat the heat, and afternoon treks are cancelled entirely.

Best Time for Desert Stargazing
The Sahara near Merzouga has some of the clearest skies in the world — zero light pollution, and the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye on moonless nights. What About Ramadan?
Visiting during Ramadan (dates change each year) is actually a fascinating cultural experience.
